We’re looking for a Veterinarian in Greater Saint John
If you’re looking for a clinic where you can practice great medicine, grow professionally, and share in the success of the organization you help build — we’d love to meet you.
Greater Saint John Veterinary Wellness & Urgent Care is part of Veterinary Urgent Care Group, an employee-owned veterinary healthcare network with a mission to give veterinary medicine back to all levels of veterinary professionals.
Our clinic offers something genuinely different: a full-service model that combines wellness and preventive care with urgent and complex case management. You’ll build ongoing relationships with patients and clients through scheduled wellness appointments, while also handling the kind of urgent cases that keep the work engaging — all under one roof, with one collaborative team.
We’re not a GP clinic where everything is routine. And we’re not a dedicated urgent care clinic where you never see the same patient twice. We’re both — which means a genuinely varied caseload, and the kind of practice environment where you can grow in every direction.
Based in Quispamsis, in the Greater Saint John area, we’re building a team that operates as co-owners. Every veterinarian on our team holds a real ownership stake, earns a quarterly share of clinic profits, and has a voice in how the practice grows.
Employee ownership creates something different than a traditional clinic environment. It encourages collaboration, long-term thinking, and shared success across the organization.
This is an opportunity not only to practice medicine but also to grow as a leader and contributor within the business.
The Perks
- 10% equivalent ownership stake at the parent company level — built into your offer from day one
- Quarterly profit share bonus based on clinic performance
- Base pay ($120,000) or 25% production, whichever is greater
- Average 32–36 hours per week — predictable scheduling
- Paid vacation
- CE allowance, health benefits, and professional membership dues covered
The Candidate
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in New Brunswick
- Genuine interest in both wellness medicine and urgent care
- Interest in learning more about the veterinary business and ownership
