Krystal

Virtual Client Service Manager

Krystal joined Galaxy Vets in 2026, as the Virtual Client Service Manager (VCSM). She brings over a decade of leadership experience in telecommunications and technology, where she built and developed high-performing remote customer service teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Throughout her career, Krystal has been known for rolling up her sleeves, stepping into the queue during peak volume, and building systems that support both performance and people. She has led training, onboarding, quality assurance, and performance management initiatives, consistently helping teams deliver strong results without losing sight of the people behind the metrics, while fostering accountability and trust.

Before transitioning fully into customer service leadership, Krystal served as a Medical First Responder II with St. John Ambulance for six years. That experience shaped her understanding of triage, documentation, and staying calm in urgent situations, skills that translate naturally into veterinary urgent care.

She’s committed to seeing the big picture, continuously improving processes, and leading with integrity, especially when navigating emotionally charged moments. Her leadership philosophy is simple: operational excellence and compassion should always work together.

As a lifelong animal lover and rescue cat mom, stepping into veterinary urgent care felt personal. Galaxy Vets’ focus on accessible, modern care aligned with her belief that strong systems should make support feel seamless during some of the most stressful moments in a pet parent’s life.

Outside of work, Krystal enjoys staying active and spending time with her family and two rescue cats, Tibbers and Timone. Tibbers, who was once said to be unable to socialize, now shares an inseparable bond with Timone. The pair are perimeter-trained in their backyard and responsive to non-verbal commands, which Krystal often jokes is proof that patience, consistency, and clear expectations work just as well at home as they do at work.
